Sophie joined Constable VAT Consultancy in February 2012 after graduating from the University of Essex. Since joining Constable VAT Sophie has successfully completed her ATT and CTA exams. Sophie is now a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and has also completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), which she studied whilst working full-time.

Sophie is particularly interested in VAT as it applies to insurance, charities and education and assists many of our larger clients operating in these sectors with preparing and checking their very complex VAT returns and partial exemption calculations and answering ad hoc questions they may have.

Sophie regularly contributes to Constable VAT’s newsletters including the VAT Newsletter for Charities. Sophie has also written VAT articles for external publications including Civil Society and Charity Finance.

Outside of work Sophie enjoys watching Formula 1 motor racing.
